Overview

A range of modern language options are available to those interested in developing their language skills. Whether you are a complete beginner, have picked up a few phrases over the years on holiday, or wish to improve on a good basic knowledge of a language, we can facilitate you.

Each language course will help you to achieve your language learning goals. You will concentrate on the four main language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and use carefully selected authentic materials to provide a gradual introduction to the structures and functions of the language.

Our part-time language courses are offered through evening lectures (one evening per week) and online learning over two years. Each semester consists of twelve teaching weeks, a study week and an examination period. Students are required to participate in classes (online and face-to-face) on a regular basis. Additional time is required for home study such as reading, research, completing assessments and preparation for exams.
